Gen Kelsang Khedrub

Gen Kelsang Khedrub is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston. He has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for over 30 years. Gen Khedrub has served as a Resident Teacher in Chicago and in Seattle, and over the years he has taught special events and led meditation retreats around the country. His heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humor that make them accessible to everyone. Through his humility and deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings, Gen Khedrub provides an inspiring example of a contemporary Buddhist practitioner we can follow.

  • Dirgni (Nini) Rodriguez | Cambridge, MA

    is a sincere practitioner who first encountered Buddha's teachings at our World Peace Temple in Glen Spey, NY many years ago. Nini’s teachings are known to be joyful and accessible. She focuses mainly on how to apply Buddha’s practical wisdom in our daily activities so spiritual practice and daily life can be fully integrated. A native of Margarita Island, Venezuela and with a background of business, accounting and finance, Nini is particularly keen on helping to integrate meditation in people's busy lives, while dealing with work, school and family stress.

  • Ricardo Diaz Alarcon | Cambridge, MA

    started practicing Kadam Dharma in 2020, in Bogotá, Colombia, where he joined the Foundation Program for the first time. Amidst the challenges of the pandemic, Ricardo discovered an unexpected source of strength and resilience through meditation practice. He enjoys reading, sharing his meditation experiences with others, and continuously learning how to improve his kindness and compassion towards all living beings, especially towards non-human animals and others around him.

    is the EPC at KMCB. She was born and raised in India, and has always had a deep fascination with Buddhism and its profound values. As a student of the Foundation program, Henna has found the opportunity to delve into the depths of Buddha's teachings and texts extremely helpful . to not only deepen her theoretical knowledge but has also learn practical techniques for incorporating Buddha’s teachings into her daily life.

  • Clare Morin | Portland, ME

    has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism since the early 2000s, when she began to study meditation at the Kadampa Meditation Center Hong Kong. She found tremendous value in learning about meditation and using these practical teachings to solve the problems of daily life. Her studies on this path have continued in-depth, and when she moved to Maine in 2009 with her Mainer husband, she was lucky to be asked to start teaching a weekly branch class in Portland.

  • Susan Nelson | Cambridge, MA

    enjoys finding ways to integrate Buddha's teachings into her various roles as attorney, mother, partner, sister, teacher, daughter, and friend. Susan started attending Kadampa Meditation Center South Carolina in 2009, the same year she passed the Bar exam. She has employed meditation techniques over the years to help de-stress and lighten the intensity of her legal career. Susan now studies on the Teacher Training Program at Kadampa Meditation Boston, exuding supreme calm and clarity.

    Began studying and practicing Dharma at Kadampa Meditation Center South Carolina in 2009. After several years of study and practice Joe began teaching meditation classes. Joe especially cherishes the opportunity to teach meditation classes to beginners and seeks ways to make his classes very practical and meaningful for participants. Joe is a lively member of the Teacher Training Program class at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston and brings great joy to his teachings.

    is a long-time student and practitioner of the New Kadampa Tradition of Buddhism. He provides practical advice on how to integrate a spiritual path into “everyday” life. Tim is currently in the Teacher Training Program at KMC Boston. Tim frequently makes the commute to KMC Boston to help with special events particularly with the sound desk and to fill in as a guest teacher. Tim lives locally on the North Shore, and is an avid gardener and cook. Enjoys walks with his dog, Boo.

    has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism for over 20 years and has received teachings from many qualified teachers. Eve enjoys sharing inspiration from the text along with meaningful ways to practice in our busy modern lives. As a working mother, she teaches from practical life experience, with a friendly modern style, and encourages students to bring Dharma teachings into their everyday life experiences.
