Make a Year-End DONATION to KMC Boston and Cherish Others

Your gift to the Kadampa Meditation Center Boston (KMC Boston) is a very meaningful and beneficial way of giving back to your community and world.

2021 has been a challenging year for all as we struggle with fear, anxiety, anger, and depression. The purpose of KMC Boston is to share Buddha's timeless wisdom teachings on how to pacify these unpeaceful states of mind, and supplant them with more positive attitudes. By generating inner peace at our hearts through training in meditation, we can bring peace into our community and world

Our 2021 Year-End Campaign provides an important opportunity for all of us to advance our mission at such a dire time. Your contribution will be used for general operating expenses, educational programs, special events, online enhancements and opening up more in person classes again, and so much more.

We understand that you might have been personally impacted by the economic conditions of the times, so please give at a level at which you are comfortable. Know that any amount is much appreciated and, in this year in particular, definitely needed.

Thank you so much for your generosity. We look forward to continuing to provide practical solutions, Buddha’s wisdom, and spiritual support for our community and beyond

If you or your loved ones have enjoyed the offerings of KMC Boston, we hope you will make a 100% tax-deductible charitable contribution to our End-of-Year Annual Fund Drive today. Your gift is extremely important to KMC Boston and its branches in Maine and Back Bay because it provides resources that make an immediate and meaningful impact. DONATE NOW.

Your kindness and generosity are deeply appreciated

ABOUT KADAMPA MEDITATION CENTER BOSTON

Our Buddhist meditation center in Boston and branch in Maine provide places of comfort, inner growth and refuge for everyone by showing how to solve our human problems and difficulties through sharing the methods of meditation and modern Buddhism.

KMC Boston holds both in person and online classes and workshops on meditation and modern Buddhism that are open to everyone regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation or faith. You don’t have to be a Buddhist to learn how to meditate or to benefit from it.

We wish to inspire and empower people to reach their full spiritual potential in order to be of greatest benefit to their family and friends and, by developing inner peace, be active contributors to world peace.

As a volunteer-run, 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, we at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston and its branch in Maine are inspired because our entire purpose as a meditation center is to show us how to create peace in the world by creating peace in our own hearts through training in meditation. This gives us hope that we can bring peace & happiness to our busy, modern cities by being connected to a supportive community.

Like a pebble in a still lake, the ripples of your gift will have a far-reaching effect and will bring enormous benefit to many people. Please consider making as generous a gift as you can.  Your tax-deductible donation will make a world of difference to others.

HOW DO THESE CENTERS HELP BUILD WORLD PEACE?

As Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche says, “Without inner peace outer peace is impossible.”

We have the power to change by understanding and transforming our mind, thereby creating our own inner peace.  The impact of learning to develop inner peace is universal, from our local to global communities.

These Centers serve our mission to bring more peace and happiness to the people of Boston and greater New England through meditation and modern Buddhism. This is our form of public service.

"Pure happiness comes from the experience of Dharma, and the development of pure Dharma depends upon the development of Dharma Centers... Who shall have made it possible for them to receive such benefits? It will be us. Therefore we are the great benefactors of future generations. Our activities are exactly the same as the Bodhisattva's way of life because we are benefactors of all living beings."
