(scroll below for more info)
Join us for a Walk For World Peace fundraiser (and picnic!) to help support the vision and efforts of Kadampa Meditation Center Boston / Serlingpa Meditation Center. Our centers are a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing peace and happiness into the world through the development of inner peace. They function as a beacon for peace in the New England area and an oasis of calm and retreat for all, Buddhist and non-Buddhist alike.
If you’ve enjoyed classes at your center, please know that your support allows us to continue providing meditation classes, workshops and retreats every day of the week in a variety of locations in New England. Our Buddhist centers provide places of comfort, inner growth and refuge for everyone by showing how to solve our human problems and difficulties through sharing the methods of meditation and modern Buddhism. Every dollar raised is invested back into the centers so we may continue to flourish and help many more people like yourself.
At this Walk for World Peace, our three individual communities will join together in Boston, New Bedford and Portland, ME to raise $10,000 in order to support the developments of our centers. With your help we can continue to flourish and benefit this and future generations!

ABOUT THE CENTERS IN BOSTON | NEW BEDFORD | PORTLAND
Our Buddhist centers provide places of comfort, inner growth and refuge for everyone by showing how to solve our human problems and difficulties through sharing the methods of meditation and modern Buddhism.
KMC Boston / Serlingpa Meditation Center holds classes and workshops on meditation and modern Buddhism that are open to everyone regardless of age, race, gender, sexual orientation or faith. You don’t have to be a Buddhist to learn how to meditate or to benefit from it.
We wish to inspire and empower people to reach their full spiritual potential in order to be of greatest benefit to their family and friends and, by developing inner peace, be active contributors to world peace.
HOW DO THESE CENTERS HELP BUILD WORLD PEACE?
As Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche says, “Without inner peace outer peace is impossible.”
We have the power to change by understanding and transforming our mind, thereby creating our own inner peace. The impact of learning to develop inner peace is universal, from our local to global communities.
These Centers serve our mission to bring more peace and happiness to the people of Boston and greater New England through meditation and modern Buddhism. This is our form of public service.
