Transforming the Mind

Tuesdays | November 17 - December 15 | 7 - 8:15pm

with Gen Kelsang Khedrub, resident teacher of KMC Boston

Countless thoughts and feelings ceaselessly arise and subside within the mind. And we can easily feel stressed, anxious or lonely. But are these thought patterns really accurate and true?

Buddha explained how we can better understand the mechanism of our mind. With this knowledge we will find real solutions to our problems.

These classes will offer practical tips and meditation tools that can be applied to everyday situations, so we can learn to control our thoughts rather than our moods controlling us, to help us become the person we really wish to be.

Each evening will include both teaching and meditation.

Everyone is welcome!

Class Topics

November 17 - What are we paying attention to? [with Q & A]

November 24 - Mindfulness, concentration and wisdom

December 1  - Building integrity and inner peace

December 8 - Compassion

December 15 - A Buddhist perspective on patience
