The Foundation Program (FP) is designed for those who wish to deepen their understanding and experience of Kadampa Buddhism through a systematic study of six texts by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche.

*This is not a drop-in program and enrollment is required. All FP students sign up freshly at the start of each new book or section of a book. It is helpful if you have attended General Program classes (drop-in) regularly for a minimum of 6-months before joining the Foundation Program. It is also possible to participate in the Foundation Program via correspondence for those living far from the center.
Donna has been a student of Serlingpa Meditation Center for many years and has been teaching the Sunday morning meditation class for several years. She appreciates how practical and applicable Buddhist teachings are to her day to day responsibilities and interactions and is happy to share her joy and insight every Sunday morning.
The purpose of the Teacher Training Program is to provide an extensive presentation of particular subjects of Mahayana Buddhism to enable practitioners to deepen their knowledge and experience of Buddhism, and to train as qualified New Kadampa Tradition Teachers. In addition to completing the study of fourteen texts of Sutra and Tantra, including the six texts studied on the Foundation Program, students are required to observe certain commitments with regard to behaviour and way of life, and to complete a number of meditation retreats each year. *Teacher Training Program is not a walk-in program and enrollment is required. All TTP students sign up just once and commit to complete the study of all 12 subjects without stopping. Kadam Kyle is the Resident Teacher of Serlingpa Meditation Center & KMC Boston and has been teaching Buddhism and meditation for eight years, beginning at the Kadampa World Peace Temple in New York and then moving to New England six years ago to teach. He has studied and practiced extensively on long-term, in-depth training programs at Kadampa Buddhist temples in New York and in England. Kyle is well known for his good heart and clear, practical teachings.
