‘Maitreya is the manifestation of all the Buddha’s realization of loving kindness. His function is to guide us along the stages of the path to enlightenment.’
~ Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso
Buddha Maitreya is the manifestation of the loving-kindness of all the Buddhas. Receiving this empowerment directly connects us with our own potential to be loving, kind, and peaceful. Through our own experience we will understand how keeping a loving heart creates happiness in all of our relationships and is the supreme protection from problems and pain. Eventually, through receiving Buddha Maitreya’s blessings continually, we will come to know the most powerful love, the love that wishes everyone to be happy all the time.
During this special event, Kadam Kyle will give teachings on developing loving kindness as well as granting the Blessing Empowerment of Buddha Maitreya. Maitreya’s inspiring blessings will help us improve our ability to care for and love others, which is the source of all our happiness and the best protection from problems and pain. Eventually, through receiving these blessings continually, we will come to know the most powerful love, the love that wishes for everyone to attain the complete and lasting happiness of enlightenment, and moves us to work joyfully and tirelessly towards that goal.
An empowerment is for beginners and more experienced practitioners alike. Everyone welcome!
An empowerment is a teaching and series of guided meditations through which we make a connection with Buddha. It bestows upon us special blessings that heal our mental continuum and awaken our Buddha nature. Everyone is welcome to attend.
