Breaking Free from Loneliness

Saturday | December 19 | 10:00a - 1:00p (+ Q & A following)

with Tiphaine Perrier, Buddhist teacher of KMC Boston

Have you ever found yourself trying to come up with strategies in order to avoid being alone?

We are not going to change the fact that sometimes we actually are alone.

What we are going to look at, in this Half-Day Retreat, is why we suffer from it.

It turns out feeling lonely has nothing to do with having people around us. Something else is going on. And we can do something about it.

We will explore some practical methods to empower ourself so the next time we are alone, we will have tools to apply, helping us to shift our experience of solitude, until we can, step by step, learn to transform the way we relate to it, and to ourself.

The aim is to free ourself from the fear of being lonely, and learning to enjoy some moments of solitude, free from the suffering associated with it.

With this retreat, we will discover in meditation, that we are not disconnected but all interconnected.

This profound insight will open us to a sense of authentic love, feeling deeply connected to everyone, which will significantly benefit our relationships with others.

The course is suitable for everyone, including beginners. Both sessions include teaching and time for contemplation. Everyone is welcome!
