Learn to Meditate
Meditation for a Kind Heart
Mondays | February 1 – 22 | 6:30 – 7:00pm
with Joe Kovaz, Buddhist teacher of KMC Boston
In this class, Joe will provide the opportunity for both beginners and experienced meditators to learn and review the basic principles of meditation and to apply them and gain personal experience of them.
This class aims at supporting and encouraging participants to begin and/or stabilize a regular meditation practice at home. In this way, participants can deepen their own meditation experiences and meditation practice and find ways to make it very practical in their daily lives.
Consistent attention will be given to the relationship between formal meditation practice and daily activities during the meditation break, and participants will gain practical experience of how these two are mutually supportive.
If you wish to continue your practice at home, you can find the Meditations for a Kind Heart HERE as an MP3 to guide yourself.
Everyone is welcome!
