The Fearless Love of Mother Tara
Saturday | November 7 | 9:30a - 12:30p (with Q & A)
with Gen Kelsang Khedrub, resident teacher of KMC Boston
Buddha Tara is a female enlightened being who generated bodhichitta, completed all the stages of the Bodhisattva’s training, and accomplished the attainment of enlightenment in a female form. Tara is our Holy Mother: in the same way that a mother provides for her children’s needs and guards them against danger, Tara protects and guides us as we progress along the spiritual path.
The beings of this world have a strong karmic connection with Mother Tara. By relying on her with faith we can swiftly receive her blessings and ripen our potential for fearless wisdom and compassionate action.
Join this morning workshop with Gen Khedrub to become deeply familiar with the chanted prayers of Buddha Tara, Liberation from Sorrow. These prayers are very blessed and easy to recite, while being profoundly transformative.
The course is suitable for everyone, including beginners. Both sessions include teaching and time for contemplation.
Everyone is welcome!
