The Wisdom of Patience – Saturday, October 2 from 10am to 12:30pm

Treat yourself to a morning of calm. This Saturday morning meditation workshop will give you inspiring insight into the wisdom of patience. Within Buddha’s teachings, patience is so much more than being silently frustrated; it involves cultivating a new perspective on things and awakening your inner wisdom and strength. Cultivating this beautiful mind of patience will help you and everyone in your world. By changing your mind you can bring more peace and harmony to this world.

No previous experience is necessary. No special clothing is required. Just show up - online or in-person.

Note: This class will be delivered in-person and online via a Zoom webinar. Our new location is 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. After registering you will receive instructions on how to watch the sessions. This event will have a replay option of 48 so you can register now and watch later.

About the Teacher: Gen Kelsang Khedrub, a Western Buddhist monk, has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s guidance for many years. His heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humor that make them accessible to everyone. Through his kindness, humility and deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings, Gen Khedrub provides an inspiring example of a contemporary Buddhist practitioner we can follow.

Gen Khedrub joins us after 13 years as Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Washington in Seattle and an additional 10 years as Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Chicago.

"The Resident Teachers of our Dharma centers are always with you; they care for you and try to guide you to a meaningful life."
