The Art of Meditation: Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:15pm with Gen Khedrub

How can we make our meditation more effective? And how can we effectively check if our meditation practice is really working in bringing about the change we wish for? This series is based on ancient wisdom on the art of meditation, on how to go beyond the breath into a wondrous journey of true inner transformation. It also covers a collection of simple and practical training that we can do during the day to keep a peaceful and positive mind.

Kadampa Meditation Center Boston is located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. After registering you will receive instructions on how to join in the sessions online.

Gen Kelsang Khedrub is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston. He has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for almost 30 years. Gen Khedrub has served as a Resident Teacher in Chicago and in Seattle, and over the years he has taught special events and led meditation retreats around the country. His heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humor that make them accessible to everyone. Through his humility and deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings, Gen Khedrub provides an inspiring example of a contemporary Buddhist practitioner we can follow.
