Meditation and Patience: A Buddhist Approach – A Newton Community Education Class

Thursdays, 7:00-8:00pm
March 2, 16 and 23

Patient acceptance is an inner strength that enables us to accept and grow from whatever life throws at us. Without cultivating patient acceptance we remain vulnerable to anxiety and frustration, and it is difficult for us to maintain peaceful relationships with others. If we understand what true patience is and its extraordinary power and value, we will be confident to practice patience in daily life.

In this series of classes we will explore Buddhist teachings and meditations which can empower our practice of patience.

March 2 - What is patience?

March 16 - How to become more patient

March 23 - Being patient with ourself

Everyone is welcome!
