Meditations for Healing Anxiety – Saturday, February 25 from 10:00am to 12:30pm – Discount ticket
See below for a special discounted ticket to this February 25 workshop, available until February 15.
In modern life, almost everyone experiences some degree of fear and anxiety. By discovering their underlying causes and learning new ways of thinking, we can reduce and eventually overcome these mental habits.
This workshop with Clare Morin will include guided meditations as well as practical applications from Buddha’s teachings to apply in daily life. We'll discuss how to increase our own inner peace — and we'll also explore how to reduce anxiety in our relationships with others, by learning how to identify the mind of attachment.
With simple meditation techniques, we can learn to become more and more familiar with positive, solution-orientated thoughts that lead to calm, clarity and peace of mind.
Location: This event will be held at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston, located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. There is free parking available, please email us at education@meditationinboston.org
About the teacher:
Clare Morin has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism since the early 2000s, when she began to study meditation at the Kadampa Meditation Center Hong Kong. She found tremendous value in learning about meditation and using these practical teachings to solve the problems of daily life. Her studies on this path have continued in-depth, and when she moved to Maine in 2009 with her Mainer husband, she was lucky to be asked to start teaching a weekly branch class in Portland.
