Meditation: Relax and Rejuvenate I Tuesdays 6:30-7:30pm with Gen Khedrub I In-person or online

Our mind has incredible power, to imagine and create things or to envision and bring about a better world. But it can also get stuck in the same mental patterns or just not being able to simply relax and feel at peace. Meditation is a tool that we can all use to transform our mind, from confusion to clarity, from doubt to confidence, from mental tension to radiance and joy.

Each evening will include basic Buddhist teachings on our mind, guided meditation and time for Q&A.

June 1 - Learn to relax the mind

June 8 - Letting go of negativity

June 15 - The clarity of the mind

June 22 - Becoming the best version of ourself

June 29 - Putting kindness into action

July 6 - Seeing the best in others

July 13 - Abiding with equanimity

July 20 - How to deal with difficult people

July 27 - The ultimate inner strength

Gen Kelsang Khedrub, a Western Buddhist monk, has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s guidance for many years. His heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humor that make them accessible to everyone. Through his kindness, humility and deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings, Gen Khedrub provides an inspiring example of a contemporary Buddhist practitioner we can follow.

Gen Khedrub joins us after 13 years as Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Washington in Seattle and an additional 10 years as Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Chicago.

"The Resident Teachers of our Dharma centers are always with you; they care for you and try to guide you to a meaningful life."

~ Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
