Meditation & Mindfulness Integrated into Daily Life: A Newton Community Education Class with Gen Khedrub

Wednesdays, 12-1pm
January 26 to February 16

Regular practice of mindfulness and meditation can help you manage your emotions, gain confidence, and stay calm in these modern turbulent times. In recent years we’ve witnessed remarkable material progress, but there has not been a corresponding increase in our happiness and inner peace. We suffer from worry, anxiety, and uncertainty about the future. We’ll explore ways to combat these worries with mindfulness methods and ways of thinking derived from Buddha’s teachings. This practice will help us face life’s unpredictability with fearless equanimity.
