Making Real Progress – Saturday, May 21 from 10am to 12:30pm

Watch your breath… so simple. But, as you will know if you’ve ever tried, simple is not the same as easy. That’s why it’s so easy to get frustrated with meditation – because the idea is so simple, we expect to be able to do it. But ease only comes through familiarity – this is true of everything.

This meditation workshop with special guest teacher Clare Morin will explore a variety of Buddhist tips on how to build up a meditation practice that works. No matter whether you are new to meditation or have been practicing for years, there is always something wonderful that we can learn from the ocean of Buddha’s wisdom on how to be still, at peace and facilitate inner change.

Includes teaching, meditation and time for Q&A.

In person or online. This event will be delivered in-person and online via a Zoom webinar. Kadampa Meditation Center Boston is located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. After registering you will receive instructions on how to join in the event online.

About the teacher: Clare Morin has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism since the early 2000s, when she  began to study meditation at the Kadampa Meditation Center Hong Kong. She found tremendous value in learning about meditation and using these practical teachings to solve the problems of daily life. Her studies on this path have continued in-depth, and when she moved to Maine in 2009 with her Mainer husband, she was lucky to be asked to start teaching a weekly branch class in Portland.
