Lunchtime meditation – Tuesdays at 12:15pm

Note: No class on Tuesday, November 16 due to preparations for the empowerment on November 20.

In just 30 minutes your whole day can change. By connecting to our heart, and intentionally cultivating inner peace, we can access the best of ourselves and learn to live from this place.

Take 30 minutes out of your day to join us at the following times:

  • Lunchtime meditation: 12:15pm – 12:45pm, Tuesday & Thursday

While the meditations offered are Buddhist, they generally appeal to anyone wanting to cultivate a deeper state of peace and authentic happiness.

No previous experience is necessary. No special clothing is required. Just show up.

Note: This class will be delivered in-person. We are located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. If you would like to join a mid-day meditation class online, each season Gen Khedrub offers one via Newton Continuing Education on Wednesdays from 12-1pm. Check back later for the first 2022 online lunchtime class.

Everyone is welcome! $5/ free for members.

About the Teacher: Gen Kelsang Khedrub, a Western Buddhist monk, has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s guidance for many years. His heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humor that make them accessible to everyone. Through his kindness, humility and deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings, Gen Khedrub provides an inspiring example of a contemporary Buddhist practitioner we can follow.

Gen Khedrub joins us after 13 years as Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Washington in Seattle and an additional 10 years as Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Chicago.

“The Resident Teachers of our Dharma centers are always with you; they care for you and try to guide you to a meaningful life.”

~ Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche
