Living Lightly – Saturday, June 18 from 10am to 12:30pm
Nothing in this world could be more meaningful, or spiritually helpful, than to explore Buddha’s teachings on emptiness, the true nature of reality. Why? Because it is only through deep familiarity with these teachings on ultimate truth that we can finally resolve all of our own problems – no matter how intractable they may now seem – and be of genuine benefit to others.
This meditation workshop with Gen Khedrub offers you a chance to explore the profound wisdom of emptiness and – as a first step toward the attainment of supreme permanent inner peace or ‘nirvana’ – to discover what “living lightly” truly means.
In person or online. This class will be delivered in-person and online via a Zoom webinar. Kadampa Meditation Center Boston is located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. After registering you will receive instructions on how to join in the sessions online.
Gen Kelsang Khedrub is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston. He has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for almost 30 years. Gen Khedrub has served as a Resident Teacher in Chicago and in Seattle, and over the years he has taught special events and led meditation retreats around the country. His heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humor that make them accessible to everyone. Through his humility and deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings, Gen Khedrub provides an inspiring example of a contemporary Buddhist practitioner we can follow.
