The Joy of Becoming a Bodhisattva – Saturday, November 5 from 10:30am to 4:30pm

According to Buddha, the best life is that of a Bodhisattva, a person who is progressing towards the actualization of their highest potential in order to be of real benefit to everyone, all living beings. And the life of a Bodhisattva is still available to us here and now.

During this retreat day with Kadam Michelle we will learn how we can begin to generate the intention of a Bodhisattva, so that our life begins to resemble the Bodhisattva’s way of life. We will learn how to practice the six main trainings of giving, moral discipline, patience, joyful effort, concentration and wisdom.

Fulfilling our own potential, and maximizing our ability to be of real benefit to our world, there can be no more meaningful and joyful life than this.
