International Spring Festival
The emphasis for Spring Festival 2022 is on in-person attendance, but it will be possible to participate online if you are not able to attend in-person.
The NKT IKBU International Spring Festival 2022 will be held at KMC Spain, Málaga, June 10-16.
Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong, the General Spiritual Director of NKT-IKBU will grant the empowerment of Je Tsongkhapa and give a special transmission of teachings on the Guru Yoga of Guru Sumati Buddha Heruka that she has received directly from Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche himself.
Before the Festival begins on June 10 there will be a special ceremony for the blessing and opening of the Sixth Kadampa Temple for World Peace at KMC Spain, Málaga.
This is a truly auspicious event that Kadampas worldwide will not want to miss and will be the first international Kadampa gathering since 2019. We will witness the vision of Venerable Geshe-la become a reality as this wonderful Temple is blessed and opened for everyone to enjoy.
