Thursday Meditation – An outreach class for Harvard University

As part of our outreach program we are offering a FREE weekly meditation class every Thursday at 4pm from April 15 to May 13 for anyone affiliated with Harvard University - students, alumni, faculty, or staff. This class will be taught by our Resident Teacher and Harvard alum Gen Khedrub.

CLICK HERE to register (free). Use your Harvard key to log in to the Socialize Remotely platform set up by Harvard. Search for the event "Meditation and Mindfulness". The class will be offered live via a Zoom meeting.

 

FREE Meditation and Mindfulness: A Special Wellness Day Event

Thursday, April 15

4:00-4:45pm

Curious about meditation and mindfulness? Treat yourself to an experiential 45-minute Wellness Day special event. Taught by western Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Khedrub AB ‘92. 

Learn about meditation posture, discover time-tested ways to overcome distractions and find inspiration for your day. This meditation practice can help you feel more settled, calm and confident. The session will include a short talk, guided meditation and time for Q&A. Everyone is welcome.

 

Meditation and Mindfulness

Thursdays, April 22, 29, May 6, 13

FREE meditation class every Thursday from 4:00-4:45pm up until the end of finals. Taught by western Buddhist monk Gen Kelsang Khedrub AB ‘92. This drop-in class will include instructions on the basics of meditation and then a relaxing 20-minute guided meditation. This practice will help you to feel more settled, calm and confident. After the meditation there will be time for Q&A. Everyone is welcome.
