Find Stillness Within: The Art of Meditation – Wednesdays from 6:15 to 7:30pm with Clare Morin

Peace of mind is within all of us. But with so much information coming at us, and so many things to get done, this inner peace often lies hidden under the surface of our restless mind.

Buddha taught many effective methods to calm the mind and access our potential for inner peace. During this course Clare Morin will offer an overview of the famous teachings on how to develop tranquil abiding. They can be used by everyone, whether you are new to the practice of meditation or whether you are looking to deepen your experience of meditation.

Everyone is welcome.

About the teacher:

Clare Morin has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism since the early 2000s, when she  began to study meditation at the Kadampa Meditation Center Hong Kong. She found tremendous value in learning about meditation and using these practical teachings to solve the problems of daily life. Her studies on this path have continued in-depth, and when she moved to Maine in 2009 with her Mainer husband, she was lucky to be asked to start teaching a weekly branch class in Portland.
