Empower Your Practice: Heart Jewel Commentary January 29 from 10am to 12:30pm
Facilitating authentic inner change takes skill, patience and a certain amount of inner strength. It is not too difficult to bring about a degree of calm through breathing meditation. But if you want really access the potential of your mind you need a bit more direction and support for this inner journey.
The practice of Heart Jewel is a powerful method to support the growth of Dharma realizations. In this morning meditation workshop Gen Khedrub will offer an essential commentary to this practice and guided several of the core meditations. Everyone is welcome.
In person or online. This class will be delivered in-person and online via a Zoom webinar. Kadampa Meditation Center Boston is located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. After registering you will receive instructions on how to join in the sessions online.
Gen Kelsang Khedrub is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston. He has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for almost 30 years. Gen Khedrub has served as a Resident Teacher in Chicago and in Seattle, and over the years he has taught special events and led meditation retreats around the country. His heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humor that make them accessible to everyone. Through his humility and deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings, Gen Khedrub provides an inspiring example of a contemporary Buddhist practitioner we can follow.
