Creating a Balanced Life – A Day Retreat in Brunswick, Maine – Saturday, November 11 from 10:30am to 3:30pm
Many people who use technology at work or for leisure know how we can easily be plugged in all the time. This constant connection can make it difficult to have a good balance between work time and personal time, and our life can feel out of balance.
But within all of us lies some wisdom, echoed by the timeless teachings that Buddha gave, that can empower us to find more balance so that we can enjoy work, life and everything in between. It doesn’t matter what kind of work we do or what kind of lifestyle we have, Buddha’s teachings on creating a balanced life will fit right in with our own daily experience.
During this day retreat Gen Khedrub will share some Buddhist thoughts and meditation techniques that we can all use to create a more balanced and meaningful life.
Everyone is welcome.
