Be Part of the Solution – Wednesdays at 7:00pm – 7:45pm with Joe Kovaz

All the happiness there is in this world

Arises from wishing others to be happy.

These words were shared by 8th Century Indian Buddhist Master, Shantideva. Today, they are more relevant than ever.
“Superficially it looks as if our world is improving, but if we look a little deeper we will see that there are now many problems that never existed before. Terrifying weapons have been invented, our environment  is being poisoned and new diseases are appearing.” Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, The New Eight Steps to Happiness.

This incredible text explains step by step, how to deepen our happiness and access a balanced and peaceful state of mind from within.  Each session we will understand and meditate on one of the essential steps, to develop and strengthen authentic altruism and to transform all our daily situations into opportunities for personal growth.

This class aims at supporting and encouraging participants to begin and/or stabilize a regular meditation practice at home.
