Awaken a Kind Heart: Wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:15pm with Gen Khedrub
Within each of us there is an extraordinary potential for inner peace, deep joy, lasting freedom and even enlightenment. This potential is grown and ripened by not only training our own mind, but from awakening a connection and kindness towards others. This series will look at Buddha’s famous teachings on equalizing and exchanging self with others. Through contemplating and meditating on these vital teachings you can find more peace within, and you can bring more peace into the world.

Kadampa Meditation Center Boston is located at 2298 Massachusetts Ave. in Cambridge, just a few blocks from the Davis Square T stop. After registering you will receive instructions on how to join in the sessions online.
Gen Kelsang Khedrub is the Resident Teacher at Kadampa Meditation Center Boston. He has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism under the guidance of Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche for almost 30 years. Gen Khedrub has served as a Resident Teacher in Chicago and in Seattle, and over the years he has taught special events and led meditation retreats around the country. His heartfelt teachings are presented with clarity and humor that make them accessible to everyone. Through his humility and deep understanding of Buddha’s teachings, Gen Khedrub provides an inspiring example of a contemporary Buddhist practitioner we can follow.
