When the constant stirrings and agitated movements of our mind are soothed through meditative and mindful ways of thinking and being, we experience a natural sense of purpose and peace. Instead of feeling like we need to add something to our life, we discover that it is by letting go of distractions that we find our peace, potential and a good nature that was there all along.
This course explores a fundamental issue of our age; external distractions are everywhere and everyone is trying to figure out how to make sense of the disruptive waves caused by new technologies, new ways to be stimulated, and ever-increasing distractions. Yet amidst a distracting world, we do not need to have a distracted mind. We can learn to be at peace. This meditation series emphasizes illuminating ways to have an organized, absorbed, and protected mind—even when things outside may seem chaotic or out of control.
